Hotel at the lake in Southern Bavaria
In 2019 Studio Katharina Korinth took part in the competition for the redesign of a hotel on a southern Bavarian Lake in collaboration with Stefanie Stöhr Innenarchitektur. The hotel is designed to create a haven of tranquillity, which respects the surrounding nature and the unique location high above the lake. Guests are supported in their seeking of time, tranquillity and serenity. The goal of every stay is to draw new strength and energy. Natural materials, craftsmanship and tradition play an important role in the design of the spacious rooms. The two room designs complement each other harmoniously. "The tranquillity of the valley" is the source of inspiration for the first design. The room opens to the valley and the design promotes peace, relaxation and a sense of comfort for the guest. Natural materials such as wood and soft textiles in combination with a soft green tone of the wall colour create a place of relaxation. Exciting accents are created by elements in traditional Viennese weave. The room concept of "proximity to the mountain" turns inwards and focuses on a feeling of cosiness and warmth. The fixtures in light oak are complemented by a warm red. A comfortable bed and sofa invite visitors to linger. The selected lighting showcases the room elegantly and enhances its warm atmosphere.
Im Jahr 2019 nahm Studio Katharina Korinth in Zusammenarbeit mit Stefanie Stöhr Innenarchitektur am Wettbewerb für die Umgestaltung eines Hotels an einem südbayrischen See teil. Das Hotel dient als Ruhepol und respektiert die umgebende Natur und die einzigartige Lage hoch über dem See. Die Gäste werden unterstütz bei ihrer Suche nach Zeit, Ruhe und Gelassenheit. Ziel jeden Aufenthaltes ist es, neue Kraft und Energie zu schöpfen. Natürliche Materialien, Handwerk und Tradition spielen eine wichtige Rolle im Entwurf der geräumigen Zimmer. Die zwei Raumentwürfe ergänzen sich harmonisch. „Die Ruhe des Tales“ ist die Inspirationsquelle für den ersten Entwurf. Das Zimmer öffnet sich zum Tal und die Gestaltung fördert Ruhe, Erholung und Geborgenheit für den Gast. Natürliche Materialien wie Holz und weiche Textilien in Kombination mit einem sanften Grünton der Wandfarbe schaffen einen Ort der Entspannung. Spannende Akzente werden durch Elemente in traditionellem Wiener Geflecht gesetzt. Das Raumkonzept „Nähe zum Berg“ kehrt sich nach Innen und setzt auf Geborgenheit und Wärme. Die Einbauten in hellem Eichenholz werden ergänzt durch ein warmes Rot. Ein komfortables Bett und Sofa laden zum Verweilen ein. Die ausgewählte Beleuchtung setzt den Raum stilvoll in Szene und unterstreicht seine warme Atmosphäre.
